Xiaolin Elf Prince Character Illustration

As I consistently refine my skills, I decided to redevelop old character designs and concept sketches into full illustrations. This illustration is of the Alturian crown prince Xiaolin, utilising his magical abilities granted by his bloodline while also carrying a solemn air when it comes to the responsibilities and expectations that come with his position as crown prince. It was fun to experiment with different textured brushes, pushing the lighting more and rethinking a lot of the original details. This illustration could sit perfectly in a graphic novel page spread or as a standalone print for his story in Caestera.
