Knight Priest

I had the pleasure of joining David Belliveau’s Paintable One Week Character Challenge in 2024, giving me a character brief and efficient new workflow to utilise. I particularly honed in on the metal rendering lesson and the spear design I created for the Knight Priest character brief was the perfect practice piece. The Knight Priest is a knight of western faith, who has also trained with monks in Asia, combining both these influences in their costume design. This was an incredibly fun challenge to take on, and I’m definitely going to take some unused ideas further in future character designs. The Paintable Tribe is an vibrant and active community and thoroughly enjoyed exchanging feedback and tips with other artists.
